In the heat of competition

In the thought of winning

Whatever we may vie

…. Why we lie

For the half truth

Or the half deny

For the compulsions we may shy

The truth is we often lie

The mirage we create

Part we disseminate

And part we hold

To look bold

Sometime intimate

What we cannot even ruminate

Exasperation

We cannot ventilate

Matter over mind

Matters in grind

What is already known?

Is never a find

Theft of word

Words full of debt

Crisis for dead

That dead looks for more apt

Point of views

Points that opine

We can see

Yet we belie

The truth of youth

For which everyone needs sleuth

Keep chewing it

Although not a sweet tooth

It is time for confession

To the next booth

Or silence

Till we die
