Let Nature have its day!

End of first week at work,
You have already lost track of the clock.
With berries in your pocket
Your mind is in a docket

To the daffodils of Wordsworth
And leisure of Davies
Humor from Scott
Wit from Buchwald

Throw open the rules
Throw away those tools
When at 9 you walk a mile
Tiredness gives away to a little smile

Sipping cup of coffee
Listening to the odyssey
Staring at the beauty
Munching some fruity

Ecstasy to attain
Outside the window pane
Dance in the rain
Away from the unnerving pain

The smell will be over
Before you even realize
For something gives hint
But the Nature just arrives.

Stuck on the first smell of rain this monsoon

A dream come true for underpriviledged students

Akshaya Patra is the free midday meal scheme in Karnataka.  Where is this plant?   Who owns and operates it? This is the daily midday meal scheme for underprivileged kids.

The kitchen from the outside -
a three-storey building which uses Gravity Flow Mechanism developed in-house
by our team. Each kitchen has the capacity to cook between 50 000 to 100 000
mid-day meals per day. Costing approximately 9 crores to set up, they are built with funds from public donations.

The kitchen from the inside,
consisting of rice cauldrons each of which
cooks up to 110kg of rice in 20 minutes.
Sambar cauldrons cook up to 1200
litres of sambar in two hours.

It is washed thoroughly on the 2nd floor

Washed rice is sent down the chute to the
1st floor

Rice pours down into steam heated cauldrons
for cooking. The entire cooking process
takes place on the 1st floor

Super heated steam is used
to cook food instead of flame.

When cooking is finished, it is
loaded into trolleys

Cooked rice is sent down the chute
to the ground floor

It flows down the pipe into containers

Piping hot rice on its way to being
loaded into food vans. Around

Dream on

Every time I look in the mirror
All these lines on my face getting clearer
The past is gone
It goes by, like dusk to dawn
Isn't that the way
Everybody's got their dues in life to pay

Yeah, I know nobody knows

where it comes and where it goes
I know it's everybody's sin
You got to lose to know how to win

Half my life

is in books' written pages
Lived and learned from fools and
from sages
You know it's true
All the things come back to you

Sing with me, sing for the year

Sing for the laughter, sing for the tears
Sing with me, if it's just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good lord will take you away

Yeah, sing with me, sing for the year

sing for the laughter, sing for the tear
sing with me, if it's just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away

Dream On Dream On Dream On

Dream until your dreams come true
Dream On Dream On Dream On
Dream until your dream comes through
Dream On Dream On Dream On
Dream On Dream On
Dream On Dream On

Sing with me, sing for the year

sing for the laughter, sing for the tear
sing with me, if it's just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away
Sing with me, sing for the year
sing for the laughter, sing for the tear
Sing with me, if it's just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away......

DREAM ON!

Happy Holi

United colors of life,
Sparkling color of its emotions,
Singing all in Unison,
Across it spectrum and Depth of Pattern,
Rejoice it wholly,
Wish you a Happy Holi.

.. Play safe.

Why we Lie?

Why we lie?
In the heat of competition
In the thought of winning
Whatever we may vie
…. Why we lie

For the half truth
Or the half deny
For the compulsions we may shy
The truth is we often lie

The mirage we create
Part we disseminate
And part we hold
To look bold

Sometime intimate
What we cannot even ruminate
Exasperation
We cannot ventilate

Matter over mind
Matters in grind
What is already known?
Is never a find

Theft of word
Words full of debt
Crisis for dead
That dead looks for more apt

Point of views
Points that opine
We can see
Yet we belie

The truth of youth
For which everyone needs sleuth
Keep chewing it
Although not a sweet tooth

It is time for confession
To the next booth
Or silence
Till we die

We the People

On the eve of 62nd Republic
East’s own Constantinople
Largest Constitution
Who is the Disciple?
Of all the Opportunities
We look to grapple
Population will double
Economy Quadruple
We are growing nation of future
Always in a form of past participle
The race of Olympics
Or the record of weasel
Despite the wealth of Forbes
Every happiness giggle
Rights are from the institution of Chapel
And Duties are not matter of Gospel
The fighter of the Red Terror
Is locked with the sickle
Inflation of the Onions
Or Fuel of the fickle
Price of Gold, Price of Silver
Pulses are no longer worth just a nickel
While we do cheers
Rice is still the staple
Corruption have bought the mind state
And brought nation to cripple
In spite of all the individual ripple
Still we say ‘We the People’

"Happy Republic Day!"

The Marathon of Mumbai - Beyond 26 miles & 385 yards

In its cloud are the drops of dreams
Its own filth and films
In its own Streets and Bay
Lies the Thoughts of  Bombay

Reel or Real....

... Its a Marathon to live in Mumbai... Starts in Morning.... from one end of the city...... With high spirits.... Full of Energy..... At one tethering end of emotions...... Full of Buzz......

The dawn is radiant

We Worship God , GOD Size!!

In its water lies stories of rains, tragedies and heroics.......

Vibrant are colors of its nature
and
Colors of its people

Extending helping hand -Always.

Cosmopolitan
Pride in its filth and dirt

Modern....Technology Embedded

Simplified and Advanced Thinking

Reading its own and others..... Fast and moving

of its NEW and OLD

Efficient in its approaches

.... In some sense it idolizes ..Citius, Altius, Fortius ... The Olympic motto in its own sense

From its ups to down and back up on its Feet

The dusk is as golden.

The City breathes to live another day  ... Fight another Day....

There is Mumbai beyond its physical areas but that indomitable spirit lives on in its true style, unshaken and untouched....

Happy New Year

Living bad memories and thoughts in the rear
For heart that’s so near
Novel ideas and plan to chalk
And then walk the talk

Riding on the bulls
And better off without bear
For the insurmountable targets we can tear
For the optimism, that even pessimist can hear

Off all the rules we can jeer
To the music we can all veer
Madness better than the Lear
Smile that is a killer

I may call you a greater rascal
Even in set of peer
With weight of few more Pascal
A pride we can all wear

To usher in a world where the mind is without fear
In all new gear
And with lots of cheer
Wish you a Happy New Year

Smile O.K. Please

When life is fickle
Amidst the chaotic ripple
Know it is not simple
To create that pink dimple

In this long race
A second or two of retrace
On this stern edifice
It created a happy face

I am not Jack
For time is luck
Because of work
I often smirk

On a slip of banana
Or missed shoes buckle
Once in a while
You made me chuckle

I can go an extra mile
Look calm for a while
Makes me a little more agile
Thanks for that Smile

Lord of all Things

The lord of Beginnings
Embodied with all Blessings
Even with half a tusk
 Makes everything work
The arc of trunk
Makes our worries shrunk
Residing in everyone’s base
My lord of divine power and face
Of his prayer and Oath
Dare you Loath
Born on the four
With rising moon which has all cure
Personification of Aum
Ensemble with a mouse,
Brings essence of home
To the ambience of house
Auspiciousness with sweet
I worship flowers at your feet
